Howling Hive is a beekeeping operation located in Brant, Ontario. We have apiaries in the counties of Brant, Waterloo and Hamilton. Our home farm is located in Brant county near St. George, Ontario, Canada.

1. What is your definition of raw honey?

2. What is your definition of filtered honey?

Our filtered honey is filtered through a double screen filter to meet Ontario #1 grade honey requirements. The filters only remove larger portions of wax and will not remove most pollen.

3. Will you remove swarms?

Yes, if the swarm is in the local area.

4. If I am interested in beekeeping what should I do?

You could sign up for our hive sharing services or purchase your own equipment from a local bee keeping supply store. If you are just starting out we recommend joining a local bee keeping club, taking a bee keeping course and watching the University of Guelph Honey Bee Research Center videos.
